Questions and answers regarding NexGeM
NexGeM – Next Generation Metalworking – is the new trade show for companies looking to shape the digital future of the metalworking industry: through software, AI, automation, the networking of existing machinery, or retrofitting. It will bridge the gap between classic machine tool expertise and a data-driven industry. And provide a platform for manufacturers, technology providers, research institutes, and industrial users.
Industrial production has undergone fundamental change. Digitalization, artificial intelligence, and data-based processes are becoming key competitive factors. The VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association) is responsible for organizing the event. As an industry association, it represents the interests of the German machine tool industry and promotes its continuous digital improvement.
